Our Stories

This is who we are.

The Infinite Monkey Theorem (IMT) is a women-owned-and-operated winery that is focused on making wine that is mountain grown and city made, from grape to can. The winery is located in the RiNo Arts District of Denver, Colo. The on-site taproom, or Decanter, is a gathering place for the community where guests can enjoy wine, experience a tour and tasting, or partake in any number of happenings we offer on a weekly basis, ranging from puppy yoga and meditation to floral and calligraphy classes.

We support our local community and culture through our bottle giveback program. We donate proceeds from every bottle sold to charity partners who believe, like we do, that bringing the community together, no matter who you are, can do good. We focus on other female-owned-and-operated businesses like Can’d Aid in Colorado.

IMT believes in equality and justice for all.

We operate with no vineyard and no pretense. And yes, we named our winery after an old mathematical theorem. It’s all about creating order out of a chaotic system. When we started in 2008, there was nothing more chaotic than growing grapes at 4,500 ft. in Colorado and making wine in a warehouse, in an alley, in a city. There are an infinite number of variables at play, decisions to be made, and possible outcomes. It is the job of our team to create order out of this inherently chaotic system as we craft ridiculously good wine for you to drink.

IMT is the counterculture to your typical winery.
